The Housekeeping Manager leads, trains and supports housekeepers, the housekeeping supervisor and janitors ensuring that all housekeeping operations are executed in the interest of 100% guest satisfaction and exceptional financial returns.
Scope:
The housekeeping manager is responsible for all aspects of supervision with the housekeeping staff.
He/she leads by example and completes all assignments given in a timely fashion.
The housekeeping Manager ensures that all standards are upheld and trains others to do so.
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for upholding the company's Core Values.

Responsibilities:
To maintain budgetary guidelines you will be trained to the Brand Standard Specifications Break out the house so housekeepers and janitors have their daily assignments Ensures back of house areas are well maintained and remain clean and organized Ensures that all information given to guests is accurate and presented in a professional manner (i.
e.
directions, area information etc.
) Close the house ensuring there are no discrepant rooms and all statuses are accurate Ensure that team members are adhering to established processes that ensures maintenance requests are submitted and followed up Ensure the housekeeping office, all housekeeping storage and the associate hallway and break room are kept clean and organized Ensure all janitors are completing their checklists and handing them in Ensure all public space is clean and Guest Ready every day including the lobby, business center, pool, exercise room, guest laundry and other public areas as needed Maintain a professional attitude with guests and co-workers in a friendly and service oriented manner To inspect all rooms daily with extra inspectors when needed to ensure they meet all quality standards Ensure that team members are adhering to established processes that ensure we exceed both the brand required Brand Satisfaction scores Handle guest complaints, concerns and requests; ensuring 100% satisfaction before departure Ensure all daily checklists are completed by team Ensure safety protocols are followed by the housekeeping team Look out for the hotels interest at all times; ensuring that hotel services are used by registered guests only, and reporting suspicious activity immediately To assist in creating the weekly housekeeping schedule when needed in accordance with budgetary guidelines To complete the HK Reconciliation Report and turn in to AGM/GM To ensure the rooms are cleaned according to the company standard of 28 minutes Attend and participate/lead in daily morning meetings Attend and participate in Employee Quarterly and Annual meetings Maintain a close working relationship with all departments to ensure that communication lines stay open to best serve our guest Provide team members with the support they need to perform their jobs effectively through thorough training and observation Provide your General Manager with feedback as to each team members performance Share positive feedback received from guests To have the opportunity to reach your full potential and grow within our company through cross training if you are interested To provide nominees for Roedel Companies Core Value Award To meet or exceed the Guest Service Brand Standards To sign off on the housekeeping Summary Complete HK Reconciliation daily Education/
Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret written procedures and communicate those in a manner easily understood by your team.
Ability to effectively deliver all required information to superiors, coworkers and subordinates.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
